We had a great summer! To keep busy and to stay out of the hot blazing sun, I enrolled the kids in some city recreation classes. Caleb was so excited to do a sports combo class. He did a little bit of basketball, soccer, football, and dodge ball. His favorite was dodge ball, especially the day that Coach Cook had all the moms and dads come in and play too! He had set up some cool maze like paths out of tumbling mats and we had a blast hiding behind them and hitting the kids with lots of balls.
Tessa took her very first class. It was called Wiggle Worms and they sang, tumbled, and moved to the music. She loved it and everyday would ask me if it was time to go see Miss Julie.
