First time bowler.

As most of you know I love coupons...especially when it is for something free, or close to free. A few weeks ago we got an advertisement in the mail from one of the local bowling alleys, I almost tore it up with out looking at it to closely, most of it is usually junk. Well, something made me stop and actually open the flier, inside was a coupon in the shape of a bowling ball -- good for 1 free game for up to 10 people! We called two other families in our neighborhood and made a date to all go bowling.

The kids loved it. Caleb has never been bowling before, and after the first frame he didn't want to take turns anymore...he wanted to keep knocking pins down.
Caleb was really facinated by the ball return. He thought it was really cool that the balls would shoot out from underground. By the middle of the game he didn't need any help picking up the ball and rolling it down the alley.

Once again, I beat John with a score of 113 to 106, not our best game ever, but for people who only bowl once a year, not bad! Caleb came in at about 54!
So for 6 adults, 4 little boys, and 3 infant girls it was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Gotta love the free coupons.

this one is dated august 19th but this is the first time i'm seeing it. WEIRD!

it looks like you guys had a super great time and there is nothing better than free! it's fun to have great, fun neighbors from what i can tell. i've never been blessed with that. however; i'm at least lucky to not have horrible ones here.
